Week 5- Commanders v Bears

The drought is finally over for the Chicago Bears, snapping a 14 game losing streak. All eyes were on Justin Fields and head coach Matt Eberflus as both are on the chopping block this year. With rumors of Eberflus being fired if he could not coach the bears to victory, and Fields possible release after this year. Fields was lights out with throwing 15-29, 282 yards, and 4 touchdowns. Receiver D.J. Moore had 8 receptions 230 yards and 3 touchdowns. Washington Commanders QB Sam Howell threw 37-51, 388 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 1 interception. Chicago’s defense showed up big with sacking Howell 5 times and holding Commanders to a total of 29 rushing yards. Bears beat The Commanders in a decisive victory 40-20.
